48452_small Review of: Pick Hungarian Salami Large Chub
I enjoyed this so much the first time I had it, that I had to buy the large chub the second time around. Great texture and flavor keyed by the amazing velvety, buttery, smoky meatiness that must be tried to be appreciated. The worst part of eating this is forcing yourself to stop and not eat it all!

50514_small Review of: Milton Creamery Prairie Breeze Cheddar
While I admit that being from Iowa originally makes me a little prejudiced in rating this cheese, it is simply my favorite cheddar. Many of our friends who tell us they "don't like cheddar" simply LOVE this cheese. Granted those friends are often not well versed in any cheese that Kraft doesn't make, they are starting to get into cheese after introducing them to cheeses like the Milton Creamery Prairie Breeze Cheddar. The cheese has just the right balance of creaminess, nuttiness, and texture to make it one of my favorite current cheeses, and something I add to every order since I first tried it as a free sample several months ago.

5515_small Review of: Lioni Smoked Mozzarella
I really enjoyed this mozzarella cheese, though I expected more of a smoke flavor given the strong smoke on the nose. We make a lot of home made pizza and what I will call "pizza-inspired" dishes and this smoked mozzarella was a nice change of pace cheese. Much fresher and better tasting than anything I have found in the grocery stores here in Hawaii and I will probably order one with every future order.

31832-2_small Review of: Boquerones - White Anchovies Benfumat
This was the first time I had anchovies in any shape or manner in over 20 years. I was very impressed with the quality, though the vinegar was almost too strong after first opening. This subsided after initially opening. They went great with beer. I did not try them in either a pizza or salad, but may in the future. Even my four year old daughter loved them (shocking to myself and my wife).

I love this cheese! I'm no fan of additive cheeses of any sort, but I really like this creamy, fruity cheese. It has balance and freshness.

45988_small Review of: Creminelli Salami Barolo
I've tried every high end Salami from Gourmet Library, and will say the Barolo in my opinion is better than the truffle style simply because I enjoy the flavor more. The truffle can have an after taste that I don't find as pleasing, but I am a huge lover of Barolo wine. I have a lb I am nearly finished with that stayed in the wine cellar for about 3+ months and just became better and better, I was truly impressed. It became even juicier and kept it's flavor, and just kept opening up... amazing stuff. Great for an afternoon snack with three cheese triscuits or the bruschette available here at the website. Buy some with your order today, it's delicious.

41760-2_small Review of: Mt Tam Cowgirl Creamery
What a beautiful creation!! So incredibly yummy... it even won over a non-brie friend who swore he didn't care for brie! Definitely let this sit a bit to "get the chill out" and you'll be giving your tastebuds a most tasty treat!

48452_small Review of: Pick Hungarian Salami Large Chub
This stuff is outstanding. Buttery and Smooth is the best way to describe it. Not too salty like I would have expected.

35923_small Review of: Rogue River Blue Rogue Creamery
Like I have already posted on facebook. This is the finest cheese (any cheese) that I have ever tasted (anywhere). It is wrapped in grape leaves and macerated in pear brandy. It is simply perfect! A must try!

47198_small Review of: Naked Goat - Murcia Curado
First off, I love this site! They have the lowest prices I've seen, and the shipping is very reasonable. Plus, I get the cheese within a day, which reduces the chances of it spoiling during transit. Now for the cheese (Naked Goat - Murcia Curado): It's delicious! Mild, buttery, and not too salty, it's wonderful shaved straight off of the block! I like it shaved into salads, or with a nice peiceof crusty bread (I ike it with semolina bread.). This sounds really weird, but [to me] the flavor is reminiscnt of the a grilled cheese sandwich (The flavor, not the texture.). Oh, and it goes great with slices of Graany Smith apples; it also taste good with grren/english peas. An overall rating of AWSOME!

Might be more than just the world's best hard goat cheese... might be the world's best cheese. Period. So good.

45536-2_small Review of: Spanish Cocktail Mix
We weren't too thrilled with these nuts. Sounds like an awesome combo but we found the nuts to be really "mealy" for lack of a better word. Obviously nuts are "dry" but these felt dry in a bad sort of way - kind of like stale or cheap quality (you could notice this in almonds most). I wouldn't order this nut brand again, but look forward to trying others that Gourmet Library sells!
